Fantastic experience that came out of the blue... Great place on 19 with exceptional food and service! Jenny our waitress could not be any nicer. Hummus appetizer with pita bread was delicious. Haddock was broled to perfection and tasted great. Everything freshly prepared. We will be back for sure as they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Check this place out!
Mighty Good Mediterranean! I was very pleasantly pleased. It's fun, satisfying and delicious when you find a new foodie spot. Ain't nothing fancy about this little diner. Just damn good food. After all, you don't go there to eat the furniture. LOL I was welcomed by the wonderful Miss Lauren. Plenty of tables, so no problem getting seated. The food. What do YOU order off of a Mediterranean menu? I usually go for the Gyro. Platter. That's exactly what I wished for. As I was ordering, Lauren mentioned the French Fries were really good. Just so happened my platter came with the gyro meat, pita points, Greek salad, rice AND fries. Yes! The fries ARE REALLY GOOD. They're double dip fried. Great crunch, taste and texture. The rice is heavenly. Very light and more like a thin rice curl. NOT your usual sticky-together grains. A Basmati variety seasoned with saffron and more. The Greek salad what you like. The gyro meat has that desirable lamb taste. Sweet and succulent. Yummmmmm. As I was lip smackin, I got to meet the owner, Dina. She was so sweet. Made me feel welcome and at home. Perfect score. I found a 10 on 19!
This is not my first time at this wonderful location. From the moment you enter until you leave you are treated like family. Food is always delicious and everyone who works there is so friendly with great customer service. Kim is my favorite waitress and the owners are just wonderful. So happy to have a Halal restaurant local as well. Keep up the great work guys!
I've quietly been a regular since this place opened about a year ago. Living in Hudson it's always been a drive to Tarpon Springs or Citrus Park to find decent Mediterranean food. So I worked my way through the menu 1 visit at a time and discovered not only a better option for the food I crave, but a staff that makes you feel like part of the family. Before during and after picture... This is a great diner fresh food and delicious, you can tell it's made with love. Better than any chain spot and it's right on the corner of 52 and 19 (old big lots plaza.) I'm from Connecticut (Southern New England) just outside of NY (the Bronx) I love a GREAT diner and I used to have to go all the way back to Tampa or Clearwater for them NOT ANYMORE.!! THANK YOU Dina and Abdel for coming to the area and I wish you much success, we've been back three times in less than a week. Oh yeah... The French onion soup is delicious also. I believe it's breakfast ALL DAY as well.
Great food and Great service! Stopped in for an evening meal and wasn't disappointed. The fries are perfectly done! Saved us a trip to Tarpon Springs for a tasty Greek meal. They also offer 24 flavors of ice cream and delicious desserts.
Food was amazing especially the hummus, falafel, and pita. We tried breakfast but can’t wait to come back and try some dinner food. Kim was a wonderful server and the restaurant has a great environment. This restaurant is one of a kind and has authentic food anyone could appreciate.
Dina and her wonderful chef husband have the most perfect restaurant. The food is all homemade and prepared with quality ingredients. The menu covers foods from many different Mediterranean countries. The French onion soup is equal to anything you find in A Michelin star Paris restaurant!! The turkey Reuben is made with pulled turkey breast and is a must try. The gourmet ice cream bar has a huge selection of creamy homestyle mouthwatering creamy combinations. The staff is happy and smiling and the service is fast and efficient! There is unlimited parking and lots of windows so the restaurant is beautifully lit. The air conditioning was set at the perfect temperature. we have eaten there twice in the past week and brought friends. Everything that everybody ate was perfect and tasty and savory and very fresh! we highly recommend. Both for an abundant breakfast/brunch. Every Saturday they serve delicious prime rib.
